Hello, I'm MARIESA BYLEVELD
LIFESTYLE AND Wedding Photographer
Somewhere between South Africa, NT station life, motherhood and a camera is where Bonello Studio happened.
I’m a photographer, full-time mum and now Nyngan local — and I like my photos the same way I like real life: colourful, unfiltered and not trying too hard.
I’m here for the muddy boots, belly laughs, windblown hair, questionable dance moves and everything in between. I’ll happily crawl through a paddock, turn up at your family property, chase the good light or jump on a plane if that’s where the photos are happening.
Big colour. Real people. Proper memories. No cookie-cutter crap.

my approach

I’m not big on awkward poses, forced smiles or telling you to “just act natural” while I stand there with a camera pointed at you.
I’ll give you a little direction when you need it, but most of the time I want you moving, laughing, mucking around and actually enjoying yourselves.
My partner is usually somewhere nearby doing his very important job as content creator, bag carrier, location scout and occasional voice of reason.
We like good light, good locations and photos that don’t all look like they came from the same Pinterest board.
Basically — less “photoshoot”, more “this is what we’re actually like”.
meet Jayden.
My partner, unpaid location scout and the bloke funding my photography addiction. He’s also the man behind the phone, taking behind-the-scene videos so basically, he’s got himself a job in my business he didn’t even know he was signing up for.
Random facts
- I either have absolutely no plans or 17 plans happening at once. There is no in-between.
- I've done station life in the NT, so a little dust and chaos don't scare me.
- I live in a small country town, where a quick trip to the shops can turn into a full social event.
- I will absolutely pull over for good light. Sorry in advance to whoever is driving.
- I can pack for a toddler like we're relocating overseas for a week.
- I will remember an embarrassing thing I did in 2014 at 2am, but forget why I walked into the kitchen.
- I love a good deep dive. One minute I'm looking up a location, three hours later I know its entire history.
- I can spend hours researching something I absolutely did not need to know.
- My partner has lived in Nyngan forever, so he's basically Google Maps with local gossip.
